50-60 days. Very early; great for short season areas; good yields of delicious soup peas. An heirloom from 1880.

What are the pros? Fast, Good Yields

What are the cons? Too easy

Review:

Great Pea! I grew this in the fall of 2013 and was moderately impressed by it. I planted them again this spring and my yields have been excellent. I'm very glad I gave this pea a second chance. Very fast an prolific.

Review:

It may not be the most exciting shelling pea out there, but it's a fantastic dry soup pea.

Review:

I planted a 4' row of these in a newly built raised bed in mid April. Though they grew up a trellis quickly and had pretty flowers, the yield was disappointingly low. The peas are best eaten when young - more mature peas get tough.
