What are the pros? Flavor Easy to grow

What are the cons? None

Review:

These beets are really something! I couldn't believe how sweet they tasted totally raw!! Incredible! With very little earthy aftertaste known to beets. Roasted beautifully. These and the Chiogga really fared well, even in our heavy, rocky soil. Will be growing every year. More next year.

These grew really well for me and were very sweet and flavorful. I'm ready to face a future with just these and the Chioggias, both were delicious and grew well.

What are the pros? Unusually sweet, no stains!

What are the cons? Could be larger!

Review:

This will be my third year planting them. I served these roasted to a die hard beet hater and he could not believe they were beets. Really sweet, roast up wonderfully, good raw grated in salads, no staining. I can't speak to its quality as a pickling beet as no matter how many I grow they get eaten. The greens are not too prolific or large but are nice cooked or raw. An awesome addition to a winter vegetable roast.

Review:

Planted a fall crop and was very pleased. To me, only a very slight difference in flavor and though I love the deep red of a beet, kinda nice to not have red fingers every once in awhile. Greens were really good.
