110 days (C. moschata) Fruits are tan, pear- to hourglass shape, and covered with the most warts we have ever seen in any moschata squash. Unparalleled for arrangements and centerpieces! And this variety has great eating quality as well—firm, sweet, fragrant dark orange flesh is superb in pies and desserts, jams, and soups. Running about 10-12 inches in length, and weighing to 6 lbs or so, the size is ideal for smaller families. Great keeper, too!

What are the pros? Excellent taste and Beautiful

What are the cons? Very large footprint

Review:

I started several seeds and they all germinated, but I only ended up with one that grew.....and grew and grew. The plant was slow to put on and ripen, but once it did I got at least a dozen 6lb squash out of this plant. I harvested just before the first freeze and was able to store the partially mature fruit in the cellar where it continued to ripen. This is a good keeping squash lasting at least 4 months in storage. My only complaint was that it requires a lot of space. My one plant reach all corners of my 500sqft garden and then went beyond. I highly recommend to anyone with space and a longer growing period. Fruit tastes a lot like a butternut squash with a melon aroma.

What are the pros? Plants are hardy/easy to grow.

What are the cons? Squash slow to mature

Review:

Hardy vines with good insect/disease resistance. Decent productivity. Squash are slow to mature and are a favorite of meadow voles if left on the ground to mature. Marrow is light orange in color and is a bit bland in taste. An interesting variety to grow once, but there are (in my opinion), better choices for baking/cooking.
