What are the pros? Don't crack in wet soil

What are the cons? I like everything about these

Review:

I've grown many types of carrots over these years and these have out performed the rest. I had wonderful luck with them when I lived outside of Las Vegas NV. Then to my surprise they did well in a very rainy, gray summer in Palmer AK. They are also remarkable even shaped, if I were a market farmer these would be one of my picks. For those of us that just garden for fun, plant these for their reliability, flavor and beauty.

What are the pros? prolific, great tasts

What are the cons? None

Review:

These carrots grew beautifully even in our heavy, rocky soil. We did a very thorough tilling and I'm sure that helped but these carrots out performed all other varieties grown last year. They got HUGE and were extra sweet in Fall. As many others have mentioned, the yellow color varied from carrot to carrot - some having very bright yellow color while others were almost white. Didn't affect the flavor at all. Great all around carrot, growing again this year.

What are the pros? I didn't get any carrots

What are the cons? I dislike not getting carrots

Review:

I grew these in mounds or hills in my raised bed last fall. These were in the ground 4 months and I got nada by end of February. I grew Swiss Chard and broccoli raab and collards nearby and all did well. Not sure what the problem was, maybe they got too much shade. But I expected maybe a couple carrots to take root and give me carrot. It was complete a waste of time and space. My Atomic Reds were much better producers. I probably won't plant these Amarillos again given I've got purple ones to try next time and I did like the red ones that I did get to produce.
