(Solanum lycopersicon) This is one famous tomato for its resistance to

root knot nematode. Looking over various websites even the University of Arkansas’s extension service recommends it as one of the tomatoes that can resist those nasty little nematodes. If you are from the south and you are plagued with these crop killing little beasties you may want to try Anhu. It is a nice salad sized tomato that is quite productive and flavorful and often succeeds where most others fail.

What are the pros? Hearty plant

What are the cons? A bit slow to start

Review:

This came from behind after everything else was gone. Started slowly over the summer, but once the scorching weather cooled down in Sept./Oct., this plant took off, grew to over 7 feet and produced a "ton" of tomatoes. Unfortunately, we had to pick almost all of them while still green to save them from frost. However, they turned red just beautifully at room temp. in a dark spot and ripened to a juicy, tasty red which allowed us to enjoy many fresh tomatoes long after the season was over. Plan on starting them as early as possible next year.
