Lavish, full-sized old-fashioned snapdragons reaching 36 inches. Heavy trusses of large, velvety-textured blooms in true apple-blossom pink, contrasting with pale gold. Stunning massed at the back of the border or as an accent plant. Yields a commendable cut-flower as well. Snapdragons were cherished in the gardens of yesteryear!

Review:

Appleblossom Snapdragons are my favorite flower this season. I planted seeds in starter cups in November, had great germination rates (just sprinkled seeds on top of soil and kept moist). Transplanted seedlings in December when they were between 2-4" tall. They grew really fast after they were transplanted and had lush 1' tall foliage when I began pinching in order to get it to be bushier (this might delay flowering). Each snapdragon plant had ~4-6 tall stems/shoot (1.5') and multiple smaller stems/shoots (0.5'). By mid-March each stem/shoot started to develop a flower bud (looks like a large round dome), after a week it begins to grow longer and the snapdragon flowers open. The flowers were exactly as pictured appleblossom pink petals with gold in the center/lips. At the moment they are ~2ft and growing, with more blossoms opening up every day. A beautiful winter/spring blooming perennial in South Florida. I will be planting even more next year and highly recommend these flowers!

What are the pros? Easy to grow

What are the cons? Wrong color

Review:

These germinated without problem, and transplanting was a breeze. However, at least 50% of them are white, the rest are varying shades of pink with only 2 in the Apple blossom shade. Also, there was one plantthat was much taller than the rest, and that one was purple! They are all beautiful and healthy, just not what I was expecting!

What are the pros? Lovely pale color, long season

What are the cons? None

Review:

These are beautiful! I paired them in pots with Pampas Plume Celosia (shown in multiple colors, my celosia was only deep red) and blue lobelia. Absolutely wonderful. They bloomed on our patio, with almost no protection, well into November. Unheard of here!

What are the pros? good germination rate

What are the cons? not as pictured

Review:

The first of these snapdragons are blooming. They had a great germination rate. Imagine my disappointment when every single one is blooming plain white. Not what I expected at all.

What are the pros? easy germination and beautiful

What are the cons? none

Review:

My first snapdragons are beginning to bloom, and they are just the perfect pale pink apple blossom color with a hint of yellow in the center. They were easy to start indoors and had a great germination rate.
