Review:

Grew these for the last two years. They were SOO impressive the first year, I figured they would be great the second year. However, we had two extremely different summers from one year to the next. SUMMER 2012: Above normal temps rarely dropped below 80 and were frequently in the 90's and higher.Precipitation was almost non-existent. We were in a serious drought. PERFORMANCE OF PLANT: The vines grew strong and thick all over the ground. They fruited heavily all summer until frost. I did not water often. SUMMER 2013: The temperatures were moderate, 70's & 80's. The spring was typical for Michigan. There was a lot of rain in both spring and summer. PERFORMANCE: Vines were very small. Maybe got a couple fruits. They lacked altogether vigor. Flavor was still very good on the fruit. I am definitely trying again. The flavor is outstanding. Makes crisp pickles and the farm market customers loved them. Burpless, skinless, NOT BITTER!!
