(Eruca sativa) Delicious salad green has a spicy flavor; a rage in salads. I just love this green sprinkled on pizza and sandwiches. One of our most popluar greens.

Review:

This stuff is drought tolerant, easy to grow, and spreads like crazy. I have pathways of rock over weed fabric between my raised beds and seeds fell into the rocks and have sprouted numerous plants in the rocks. I don't really take care of the plants and they give me tons of arugula and just keep coming back. I'm not a big fan of the flavor as it's bitter and spicy to me, but I use it pretty much daily in green smoothies because it is so healthy.

Review:

I planted these seeds over three years ago in the backyard. This is kind of an updated review since I first planted this. Just came back to say that this arugula is like a weed, but lovable. I left home nearly three years ago and this plant self sows in the same area, IN THE DESERT! We get virtually no rainfall here, 113 degree weather for months out of the summer, down to 25 degree F winters, but this plant comes back every year, and stays localized in the same area, not spreading, but still reseeding. Still big beautiful plants, lovely edible leaves that keep coming back after picked, and a 2 yr old could grow this salad green! Massive amounts of seeds keeps the birds fed, and will keep you fed with greens when there are no tomatoes growing :)

Review:

I direct sowed this in my garden in early May. This was so easy to grow, with a great germination rate. I've been pulling whole plants to harvest, and using individual leaves as I need them. This has such a great peppery flavor that only gets stronger as the leaves get larger. I've given extra to family and friends, and they keep asking for more! I plan on growing this every year now.

Review:

This is a very flavorful and spicy arugula. Easy to grow right in the garden bed (I did not start it early indoors, but sowed straight in the bed) They are starting to try to flower, so I keep pinching them back. Once again, though, the flavor is outstanding. I've been putting it on pizza and in salads. This is my first to grow this variety and I recommend and will grow again.

Review:

Arugula has got to be one of the easiest things on the planet to grow. ..and grow, and grow! It just keeps going! It's super tasty in a salad with goat cheese, dried sweet berries, and candied nuts. I have some (purchased from Baker Creek) growing out in the garden right now and it's January! In our zone 8 garden we can pretty much grow arugula all year. Don't be deceived about it's hardiness either - we've had frosts the last few nights (we're having an atypical, extra cold winter) and it's still out there growing happily next to my kale. As with pretty much everything, it grows a little slower in the winter, but it's growing and that's what matters. In the spring, it goes crazy in all the right ways! I love it.
