What are the cons? Took a while to germinate

Review:

What people say: 2ft plants with 4" fruit. What I have going on: about 2.5-3ft plants with eggplant almost the size of market, about 6" long 3" diameter, and producing like crazy. Between 4 plants, I have about 10 eggplants growing and about the same amount in blossoms. I germinated these in the spring but they wouldn't take until late April when it finally got hot. They don't seem to want to germinate until it's nice and hot. It's been in the high 90F and they are happy as ever and hardly showing signs of wilt, despite getting bone dry pots at times. Despite being pretty tall, pretty compact plants and I have 2 each in about 30 inch pots. As long as it's hot and you give them some water, they will thrive. Haven't gotten to taste one yet but the fruit looks gorgeous and delicious. Hard to tell when to pick because of the smaller size.
