75 days Bred for Southern conditions, this medium-height variety produces 8-oz red globes even through hot, dry summers. A tomato with considerable merit, which was no longer being offered commercially.

What are the pros? easy to grow

What are the cons? None

Review:

I liked these tomatoes, they did well for me. Thery were easy to grow tolerant to bugs. I think they have a great flavor, my daughter is 2 and picks them right off the plant and can't eat enough, and she typically won't eat store tomatoes. I will diffenatly continue to grow the Atkinson tomatoe.

What are the pros? Huge Plants that grow BIG

What are the cons? only got 2 tomatoes

Review:

This was my first year heirloom gardening. Direct seed .Used 5 year old horse manure. I am in extreme heat in Las Vegas.Planted in February. My cherry tomatoes, Chadwick did AWESOME, but the Atkinson gave me 2 single tomatoes all season. Huge green healthy plants with flowers , but NO fruit. The only 2 that grew were huge, then my chickens snuck in and ate them, lol.Not sure WHY they did not grow tomatoes. I am leaving plants in for fall to see if they produce? I am zone 9a.

What are the pros?

What are the cons?

Review:

First season I 've grown this tomato mainly out of curiosity. Its a very prolific producer like a jetstar varity. As far as taste....sort of on the bland side. There are many other tomato types I've grown with more flavor.Imo..its just another decent market tomato of average size and taste.
