50-60 days. A very bright yellow-green loose-leaf variety from Down Under. Heat tolerance and bolt resistance reported. Glossy, deeply savoyed leaves look like chartreuse seersucker!

What are the pros? Great Taste, Abundant Foliage

What are the cons? Very Small Seeds

Review:

As with many seeds, lettuce seeds are small and somewhat difficult to plant one at a time. I have been gardening since childhood and one of the best innovations to ever come along is seed in a pelleted form. This is a plant seed I would love to see offered in a pelleted form. The plant is very easy to care for. For my wife and I we need only a few plants but one could cheaply plant as many as they want to add matter to the soil and as a sun protector for the soil between other plants. This is one of the plants I let go to seed because it looks so nice in the garden.

What are the pros? Every seed produced

What are the cons? none

Review:

First time growing this in a container garden on my deck. It seemed every seed produced and the flavor was great. Plant didn't grow as big as some reviews described but we were pleased with abundance and flavor. A wonderful addition to a dinner salad. Will grow again.

Review:

Until I grew this lettuce, I thought I couldn't grow tasty lettuce in Texas. I grew this lettuce as a winter crop and it stood up to the cold and really grew all winter. Three plants supplied my family with lettuce through the winter (I covered it one night) and I took bags of lettuce to the local Food Bank. We can get some days of really warm weather any time of year, and that's when most of my previous lettuce became bitter. Australian Yellow stayed sweet until we got consecutive ninety degree days. It will be a regular in my garden.

What are the pros? Everything

What are the cons? None

Review:

Jumbo-sized leaves- just a couple will make a good-sized salad. Crispy, slow-bolting, and withstands cold. Long lasting in the fridge. Combine with the Outredgeous and Lolla for a colorful salad. Perfect!

What are the pros? Germinates quickly

What are the cons? None

Review:

Near 100% super fast germination. It even withstood a flood where it was under a foot of water. This is a beautiful green/yellow leaf lettuce. I tried it for the first time this year and it will be a permanent addition to my garden.
