The Baby Doll is a real wild-child,but is happy to reseed only sparsely here and there in clusters of one,two or three plants. In addition to these volunteers,my mom had her main bed that she "refreshed" every other year. And whenever she pulled a weed she usually stuck one in that spot; they were quite polite and never took over. Like snowflakes,no two flower's markings are alike, not even on the same plant. They top out from 5 to 10 inches,so they make a nice understory for tall plants as well as a border in sunny gardens.
