What are the pros? Easy Reading

What are the cons? None

Review:

My wife is Special needs (Learning/Comprehension) and she can very easily follow along reading the book. It's one of the few books she has reread because she can understand it. I love reading and have found this book very educational at my level. I use it as it is a great resource throughout the gardening season. Anyone can read this book and come back with a greater understanding on gardening.

What are the pros? Great value, overal basics

What are the cons? none

Review:

I devoured this book like it was a tasty-stir fry! No kidding! I couldn't put it down. Maybe it's because I was newly educated about GMO's and the benefits of eating whole foods, but I honestly did learn a lot of basic info on organic gardening and saving seeds. The Gettle's stories that they share are equally enlightening....and entertaining. This is a book that informs and give hope that we "regular folks" can grow a garden and impove both our lives and others in the world. I look forward to putting into practice the tips and advise in the book. Wishing much success to the Baker Creek Seed Company and all those that are following the same practices!

What are the pros? Very easy read.

What are the cons? Page 40

Review:

Not sure the comments on GMO corn on page 40 are dead on because legally, no corn has been proven to be cross contaminated with transgenic varieties. In that case the company producing them would be legally liable and like I said, there are no proven cases to this day. So, a claim that a variety is contaminated with GMOs is a strong one without legal proof backing it up. I am sure Monsanto would like to know where they are more than anyone else, since that is intellectual property they arent making a profit on. The varieties the book points out could very well be mixing with hybrids and other variants, but not necessarily GMOs
