I can't say enough about this wonderful basil. Used fresh it has a slightly citrus like clean taste with a hint of anise. Dried it sweetens and mellows to a candy-like scent I roasted a delicious hen with the fresh leaves and have the drying flowers hanging everywhere. It tolerates the heat and dryness of the summer well thriving and growing when some of my other basils stagnated. This basil could definitely be dry farmed if you wished to produce it on large scale with minimum input.
