What are the pros? Germinates quickly

What are the cons? N/A

Review:

I am a newb to the herbal industry and excited about the process! I planted my seeds on October 31, 2015. I had seedlings as early as November 4, 2015. I am excited about the growth of this plant. I have set up my basement as a place for my herbs. I have two heating lamps and placed my seeds in a foam cup, watered them, placed them under the light (approx 6-8" away) and waited for the sparks to fly. Can't wait to taste to see what the flavor will bring to my life!! :)

Review:

Grew this type of basil this year to add some color to my herb pots outside. It grew like crazy and was a rich, stunning color. Love that it's a bit milder than green basil. It did start fading color, turning a bit greenish, in the long stretch of 90* heat in late summer, but then it produced the prettiest fuscia-colored flowers which more than made up for it. This plant was so beautiful that I plan on planting this, a LOT of it, as a filler in my flower beds next year.

Review:

I am a huge fan of purple basil overall. I really like the mellow flavor and the beautiful color. This is by far my favorite purple basil seed that I've ever encountered. I scattered some seeds at the edge of a bed where I had some extra room and the plants engulfed that area. They were about a foot and a half tall and loaded with so many leaves that I could never successfully pick it all. I ate some fresh, froze some, and gave a lot away. It's easy to keep it going by picking off the flowering heads. You will not regret getting this.

What are the pros? Intense purple, milder taste

What are the cons? Nothing

Review:

Wow. I grew this on the edge of my vegetable bed. No more! I'm planting it among my flower beds. The intense purple color pops and has a beautiful texture. Even if it wasn't edible, I'd grow this again. But it is edible! And the flavor is very nice - not as intense as regular basil, which I prefer. It was very easy to start from seed and they were very healthy. Love, love love!
