What are the pros? Size, production, aroma
What are the cons? Not the best tasting, but good
I planted several plants around my garden. I've never seen basil plants so large. These got four feet tall. I couldn't keep up with cutting back the seeds so I just let them seed mostly all summer. I still had good tasting basil and more than I could give away. They really help attract beneficials to my tomato bed. Only negative is that I don't think it's the best tasting Italian basil, but still good.
