What are the cons? Nothing
Thai "Gaprao" Basil is fantastic and easy to grow, especially in warm climates. It will keep as a perennial if you have a greenhouse (or south-facing window) that won't freeze through the winter. I have not bought seeds from the website so I can't remark on the germination rate. But what I can say is that it's a must have for anyone who wants to try their hand at Thai cooking. Look up recipes online for Thai fried basil and chili (usually with pork but can also be with chicken or tofu). In Thai = "Pad Gapao Moo". Delicious!
