What are the pros? Great for Thai cooking
What are the cons? None
I started these seeds late last winter, and ended up with about 8 plants. I cook a lot of Thai food, and still could have gotten by with one or two plants... they ended up about three feet high and two feet in diameter! The Thai basil plants that I grew in the past after purchasing locally didn't prepare me for this year's bounty. This basil is great in stir-fries and even cocktails. Flowers early but doesn't seem to lose flavor like some other basils. Bees love it.
