What are the pros? Super easy to grow!

What are the cons? None!

Review:

This is my first time growing these tomatoes and I am hooked. They grow super well, produce a LOT of fruits and the tomatoes are super cool looking. I just picked and tried my first one this morning and both my husband and I raved about how delicious it was. I'm so glad I have multiple plants growing because I'm going to want to eat these every day. I will definitely make these a staple in my future gardens.

What are the pros? Grows well, resilient

What are the cons? A little slow to mature

Review:

I really liked this tomato. I tried a number of new varieties this year, and the Black Beauty was the heartiest seedling/start of the bunch. When other seedlings had their first set of leaves, I had to transplant these. The seedlings were resilient in the face of puppies, clumsy toddlers, and squirrels. After planting they had many trials and tribulations, but still managed to set a large number of fruit. Tomatoes were tasty with good flavor, and beautiful in a salad or sandwich. I ate an embarrassing number of tomato and mayo sandwiches. Next year they will get their own bed with extra protection to see if I can coax out their full potential. The Phoenix heat is setting in now, so I'm interested to see if they survive until fall. A fall/winter crop would be the ultimate test for these lovelies!

this tomato grows in clusters, pollinates well. I pruned for two vines and the blossoms are probably in the hundreds and the sets are in the dozens already.

What are the pros? Nice color

What are the cons? Pretty much everything

Review:

Tried this variety for the first time last year. The plants were sickly looking, very spindly. Super slow to produce and not much in number. The fruit was very hard and when able to pick finally in August, the flavor was strange. Not really tomato like. Outer skin was very tough. Two plants right near 3 other varieties that did very well? I won't be growing these again. My Mom grew with same results.
