What are the cons? Plants not really full.

Review:

These plants have produced wonderfully this year. I had so many plants and gave many away. They all did well. Cute and different and my daughter's favorite!

Review:

Productive plant grows absolutely tasty tomatoes! My favorite for snacking this year, so sweet and great texture. Definitely planting these next year too. All my tomato plants got early blight this year and this plant held up pretty well while some others died. Still producing lots of fruit at the end of August. Highly recommended!

I for some reason was not expecting much from these- but they are WONDERFUL! One of my favorites this year. Healthy plants and one of the first to ripen. Beautiful and full of flavor!

What are the pros? good yield, beautiful colour

What are the cons? taste too bland

Review:

I was so excited to try this tomato. The plant was healthy and big, produced lots of fruit. Taste is something personal and for me this tomato lacks acidity to really bring out the flavor. I prefer a tomato with good sugar and acidity balance.

Review:

This was the best tomato that we grew last year and possibly our best tomato ever. A high end restaurant took every one that we gave them. Initially, I picked them too early and the flavor wasn't as good. The flavor was best when they were allowed to fully ripen on the vine. Often I pick tomatoes before they are completely ripe, because I don't want them to crack. But compared to other tomatoes, Blush had very little cracking. They were fantastic when dried, (but I think that yellow tomatoes in general are especially tangy and fruity when dried). Also, these tomatoes kept their good eating quality for a long like time (like a week or even two) after picking. Most heirloom tomatoes that we grow, peak in ripeness and then rapidly go bad. Finally, they looked beautiful and had good disease resistance. I have tried many of Brad Gates tomatoes because I love the look of them, but for us the flavor hasn't been good. Next year I will try more of Fred Hempel's tomatoes.
