Review:

I planted these on Mothers Day and have been picking them now, July 9th, for almost 2 weeks. The plants and seeds are very vigorous - they were the first beans up from the soil and seemingly every one sprouted. The plants are a little over three feet, bright springy-green leaves, full, nice enough to be mixed in the flower border. I planted them with some supports so can't say if they would be fully self-supporting. Haven't been troubled by beetles. The beans are delicious and beautiful. So far, we've only eaten them fresh off the vine or blanched with olive oil or butter - if any of them make it from the garden into the house- at a size of about four 1/2 inches, though some were larger after a return from a week's vacation. They have been flavorful, meaty and stringless at any size so far. Haven't yet used them as recommended for baked beans. An unexpected plus: the red markings make them easy to find to pick. Will definitely grow again.
