I grew this all through fall '09 and it did great through several frosts for fresh Thanksgiving lettuce and even after that through December. I tried some this spring, but it was not as vibrant although it liked the cool rainy days. I will definitely grow this again in the fall and probably thereafter.

This lettuce shares an 8x4 raised bed with the Lollo Rosa lettuce. I start harvesting the lettuce before it reaches maturity and it keeps giving from November through April in our hot desert. The yield is abundant. It tastes wonderful and make a beautiful looking salad. We use little or no dressing, it tastes that good.
