What are the pros? Nice heads, good flavor
What are the cons? Slugs liked them, too
We're in zone 5 and had good results with the Brunswick Cabbage. The heads were a little small, but my only real complaint is that they seemed to be a slug magnet. The early part of last summer was wetter than usual, and we had a problem with slugs in our raised beds for the first time, but only with the cabbage. I didn't enjoy cutting into a head to find slugs nestled under the leaves and around the stem after they'd chewed on the inside, so I'm going to take measures this year. The cabbage we were able to eat had good flavor.
