I don't have much to compare with because this is my only leek experience but I am going to say I was pleased and will grow again. Germination was average to good compared to the other onion varieties that I have grown. Flavor is very mild and nice. My bigger ones were about 1"+ in diameter. I pulled them in Aug.-Sept. and I am sure they would have grown well into the fall. Used for several pots of home-made chicken noodle soup that was very good. I want to note how tough these plants are. I had some seedlings in small trays that I had no room for in my garden. They stated in those trays all summer with little to no attention. In October I put the seedlings in some vacant garden spaces and they took off. I just pulled one up (Jan. 01) for some baked potatoes. Very nice.
