What are the pros? used all of plants!!!!

What are the cons? did not like beets previously

Review:

Planted these heirloom seeds in an raised bed, well mulched. Used early leaves in fresh salads. Harvested and was not even sure how to cook. Watched video on Utube on how to cook and skin. My husband LOVED these. I also did a wilted salad with the tops of the harvested beets. All was edible and delicious. I can now say I am a beet lover. I will be planting these again, as I am ordering more seeds!

What are the pros? Gorgeous Easy Sweeeeet!

What are the cons? What's not to like?

Review:

This beet screams at passers-by in the field "see me!" In my garden it glows with a color only matched by some of the colorful swiss chards or red amaranth growing nearby. The difference is in the taste of both the very sweet leaves plucked right there and then and the even sweeter root. These I grow year round in the greenhouse. They are workhorses for me, and last and last for leaves and finally the roots, that seem to stay tender and disease-free. I call it the Ambassador Beet. Because as soon as a "beet-hater" sees those beautiful blood red leaves, that person winds up loving the taste of the whole plant! So many attributes of the Bull's Blood beet; not enough space to list all the reasons to have a love affair with this variety. Just try it. If the taste doesn't suit for any reason it is still a super easy to grow plant for the border or in a flower bed. It will take neglect and abuse, poor soil, and shrug off pests, and still be so pretty!
