What are the pros? Massive plants and fruit

2013 was a banner year for eggplants. This is one of the dozen varieties I grew. The plants are more of a mid-season producer, about the same time as the ever popular Ping Tung eggplant. Which is amazing considering the eggplants themselves are gigantic with a nice dense and fine grained flesh. I find green eggplants to be milder with a bright kind of green flavor which is wonderful. (Regular eggplants cooked remind me of cooked mushrooms in both texture and flavor.)
The plants themselves are massive. They weren't the tallest plants but the leaves were gigantic, at least 5 times the size of other eggplants. The plant produced maybe 5 large eggplants, I wasn't diligent about harvesting young fruit which may affect fruit set as the plants put more energy into ripening.
