What are the pros? Unique shape, vivid, spicy!
What are the cons? will curl around close by root
Candle of fire is right! Ours were seranno spicy in amended clay soil. Super long and super happy with some late afternoon shade. Roots went deep and required careful harvesting to avoid breaking the root. Roots planted close together curled around each other in a slinky fashion.

What are the pros? nice flavor and shape
What are the cons? none
I added some compost tea when transplanting these and they grew without problems in full sun. Contrary to picture, due to the rocks or compact soil, ours came out like dancing feet, turned in on itself, with 2 or 4 appendages. Some are very spicy, some are not at all, but really good to eat with some dip.
