This landrace of corn from Michoacan is blooded/rust colored and a true beauty. Presently being preserved in Michoacan Mexico thanks to the efforts of one family that is promoting its use commercially.
A corn variety that plausibly will adapt to many areas in the southern US, it should fair well if it has a long growing season. Definitely worth trying to grow out. The stalks got very big in Connecticut and they did set ears but
the raccoons got them before they had a chance to mature! beautiful!
