70 days. Blocky, medium to large, green, 3-4 lobed fruits ripen to a rich chocolate-brown. The green fruits are good, but they are spectacular when fully ripe--crisp, juicy, and very sweet! Productive enough to make a good variety for market growers, and so early!

What are the pros? Color

What are the cons? Low yield

Review:

Very pretty pepper once it changes to brown, but I only got 1-2 off each plant and all the peppers were small. Fruit did most of its changing to brown after I pulled off the plant. after 3 days off the plant- totally brown. It's unique, but not mind-blowing.

What are the pros? Great germination rate

What are the cons? Slow-growing, delicate

Review:

Near 100% germination in seedling pots. Slow-growing, and did not tolerate transplant well. Plants stalled out at about 8 inches high, never matured or thrived. Right next to another variety of bells that did great.
