This unique chart presents gardening events in a "time phased" format so that it is possible to see at a glance the entire planting, growing and harvesting period. It shows proper indoor and outdoor planting times relative to spring and fall frost dates for 22 common garden vegetables. Since frost dates vary from region to region, the chart will slide, making it useful in most parts of the northern Hemisphere where frost is a critical gardening factor. The front of the chart shows the spring season, and the flip side acts as a guide for fall gardeners. Frost dates are included in the directions. Developed by a friend and customer, this handy chart is a favorite of our staff and customers to our store, so we have added it to the catalog. A must for new gardeners.

What are the pros? simple

What are the cons? n/a

Review:

Great little tool! You might want to purchase two so that you can plan your spring & fall plantings side-by-side. The simplicity of the tool really makes optimizing spring to fall harvests a breeze! I found the First/Last Planting method Muchm Much simpler and more practical than the more common planning method which gives planting ranges. All in all, this is a really smart tool that has helped me think of better ways to garden. As useful as this tool is, it should be included with the Baker Creek Catalogue (in my opinion).

I have tried to make my own planner, but this is much easier to use and understand. I will use it and let you know how it works. Thank you for spending the time to make such a nice useful item for us gardners.

I'm glad I bought this - a lot less scrambling all over the internet looking for information. I would love to see one of these specifically for herbs or even flowers.
