We have grown these pumpkins for three years now. Always nice round large sized pumpkins; average producer; average keeper. However, the flesh is has always been stringy and very watery when cooked; somewhat like an acorn squash, but more watery. First year we thought it had crossed with our zucchini or another squash. Last year we bought new seed and did not plant any other species of pumpkin or squash in the garden....same results. If you want a jack o lantern pumpkin these are great size with firm skin. I want to be able to eat them as well, so I will be trying another breed next year.
