What are the pros? Color
What are the cons? None
It was my first time growing carrots and I grew these from seed. I direct sowed them in the garden in April and all of them grew. I have just started pulling some now as I need them. The color is great. I was surprised at the seed success rate.

What are the pros? Tasty, pretty, quick to ready
What are the cons? n/a
Received these as a sample from Rare Seeds and I've just bought a packet to sow for Fall, replacing my other varieties. They've done very well as a spring crop. Much larger, and ready much sooner than the others. They're beautiful and always elicit comments. Taste is sweet. So far we've only eaten in our spring, early summer salads but I'd imagine they'll be fantastic roasted in a few months. Would highly recommend for this area (southern, inland Massachusetts).

What are the pros? Flavor
What are the cons? I should have planted more.
Great flavor! Easy to grow. You cannot get the great flavor of these carrots from store bought carrots.
What are the pros? Tasty and keeping well
These were the best performers for me. Also grew Danvers half long and st vallery. These got biggest and had best flavor. They keep well, too!
I grew these in a raised bed filled with compost as per Charles Dowdings no dig method. Maybe 2 out of 50 forked, but the rest were perfectly formed! I am very happy with these.

What are the pros? Very large and good flavor
I planted these in late February in a bed that has filtered sun and just harvested the last of them 6/14/17. They were huge. Larger than any carrot I have ever grown in my OKC garden. Out of some 100 carrots, only had 3 or 4 bolt and only 2 split. They out perfomed my Danver's Half Long and Kuroda. Will plant again.
