85 days. AAS/Winner-1964, very popular. Crisp and sweet, medium-red flesh, mild flavor. A good producing type that is still quite popular.

What are the pros? Easy to Grow, Super Sweet
What are the cons? Nothing
This was my first year to try growing watermelon. I planted both Crimson Sweet and Sugar Baby. Crimson Sweet matured faster and made larger melons. I'm going to enlarge my melon patch next year as these were so easy to grow and delicious.

90% of my garden is dedicated to watermelon, I have grown a few different varieties including Ali Baba, Carolina Cross, Jubilee, Ruby Red, and of course Crimson Sweet. Crimson Sweet is by far my favorite, producing high yields of great tasting watermelon. This is a good choice for you no matter where you live.
