What are the pros? Prolific

What are the cons? none

Review:

Personally I don't like eating cucumber much, but the Crystal Apple cucumber is delicious to me. It is sweet, mildly favour and crispy. The plant is extremely prolific and grow very well under high heat, up to 33, 34 degree Celcius. Trim off the extra leaves to ensure good air circulation. You will get good harvest all season long.

What are the pros? Easy to grow, Prolific

What are the cons? Mildew

Review:

Love this cucumber. Was easy to grow for a first time gardener. It was very prolific, as long as you pick it they seem to keep coming. The family loved it. The kids next door loved it. What more can you ask for? Like most cucumbers though, it did eventually succumb to powdery mildew.

What are the pros? Heavy producer

What are the cons? Skin gets very tough w/size

Review:

Very fun cucumber to grow. Children would love it. Produces very well if picked regularly. We have harvested well over 50 from just a few plants. Easy to start, lasts well into Autumn's cool temperatures. Must be picked early. Fruit larger than 3" develop thick skins that are terribly difficult to chew and they also have many many seeds. A plus with the seeds is that you can save them for the following year.

What are the pros? Easy to grow, delicous

What are the cons? none

Review:

I grew three types of cucs from seed this year. The other two barely produced but these did great. I have gotten hundreds of cucs from 3-4 plants. They are great fresh and we recently made pickles from them. Fermented them whole in our crock. They made the best pickles I've ever eaten. These may be the only cucs I grow from now on.
