What are the pros? high yield, vigorous
What are the cons? none
I've grown Dappled Grey beans for 6 years in mostly unamended heavy clay Colorado soil. Although these beans have a fairly long time to maturity, they have consistently produced the heaviest yield of any bush bean I've grown. This vigorous plant will continue to produce loads of snap beans well in to autumn. If I left them all on the plant for dry beans, I would have a huge store to use through the winter. I have to say that this is my favorite bush bean to grow.
