What are the pros? bountiful, attractive
What are the cons? flavor
Our plants germinated well, were healthy and produced heavily. However, we have a really hot climate here, and I believe it was the reason that the cukes were so, so bitter. So far, less than 10% have been edible, but they are plentiful. I'm hoping that when our weather cools down that we'll have some to pickle, because the few that were good were really good - crisp, firm, and tasty.
