What are the pros? Easy to grow, big size, taste

What are the cons? None

Review:

Last summer was my first where I actually had a yard, and the space to grow (without cramming) all of the vegetables to my heart's content. This is the first cucumber I've ever grown, and I was beyond pleased with it. The cucumbers were huge off this plant, completely dwarfing the standard store-bought ones. They sliced up easily for eating fresh and for pickling. I'm in love :)

What are the pros? Taste delicious!

What are the cons? Disease Prone

Review:

The cucumbers taste delicious and the texture is really crunchy. Skin is so thin and I eat them raw without peeled. Unfortunately the plant is not very disease resistant. It's now mid of July and I noticed the vines are starting to be infected with Bacterial Wilt :-( I have picked about 15 cukes out of 2 vines so far, but there are a bunch of tiny fruits and flowers still. Hopefully I can still harvest a few before the Bacterial Wilt completely took over. I would love to share them with friends and neighbors so they can taste how good these cucumbers are.

What are the pros? Vigorous plants, high yield

What are the cons? No dislikes

Review:

I try several different varieties each year looking for the perfect ones for my taste, and my garden, and these were wonderful! Easy to grow, and I was picking cukes from late June through early October. These will now be a regular in my garden as well as the gardens of several friends I gave extra plants to.

What are the pros? Great tasting cucumber

What are the cons? Not resistant to wilt

Review:

These are great tasting cucumbers, both pickled and sliced. Even when they grow to be very large they aren't bitter. I have grown them for 2 years and both years they produced for maybe two weeks and then died completely due to some kind of powdery mildew or wilt. I will admit that last year we had near monsoon like rains and this year my chickens scratched around and damaged some of the vines which made them more susceptible. I will be trying a new variety next year. Maybe the deep south with very hot and humid conditions isn't a good place for these.
