What are the pros? No pests, no diseases, winner

Review:

Plant likes to crawl everywhere! I have two large melons and several smaller thumb size fruits that may develop. So far I have not seen any bests on them, no diseases, they don't seem to be scarring or rotting either! Loads of female flowers and they are just getting started. The leaves do not crowd out other plants so letting it crawl around doesn't hurt anything but may be attractive to snakes. Planted in sandy soil near a creek bed, wild thumb size watermelons grow inside the creek from time to time which is a good indicator and the Dixie Queens love the area. One of the best crops I planted this year, I'll be replanting them every year. Texas, USDA zone 8b

Review:

2 packs of seed produced 62 watermelons. All sold fast once customers tried them. Was amazed with the melons production since we had a hot , dry summer. 31 lbs was the largest and that is my seed for next year..

Review:

My Grandpa used to grow these in the 70's, when I was a little kid. I used to go out to the watermelon patch to help him "thump" the melons, to see if they were ripe. These Dixie Queen melons were sweet and WONDERFUL! We used to cut them in half and chill them in the fridge before eating them. Oh, what memories!!
