What are the pros? Versitile, highly productive

What are the cons? none

Review:

Bought these on a lark thinking it would cure my cucumber situation of having two varieties--one for pickling and one for slicing! It does just that! I pickled, made salads, shared until I finally had to pull two hills out of three as my son was going in for surgery and hubby would not be able to keep up! I was bringing in 1.5 5 gallon buckets at a time! Only hit two cukes that were slightly bitter! My new favorite cucumber!

What are the pros? Productive

What are the cons? Taste

Review:

Very productive plant and vigorous vines. It's all downhill from there. The cukes are bland and might really only be fit pickling where vinegar and dill can help the flavor. A rather ugly cucumber as well. On a good note the dogs like them

What are the pros? Quantity, flavor

What are the cons? None

Review:

I grew these for the first time last year, on a v-shaped trellis. They grew fast, produced FAST and produced A LOT. They definitely lived up to their name! I picked cucumbers nearly daily, and had so many I was giving bag-fulls of them away to friends and still couldn't use what was left before they got overripe! I would definitely suggest staggering the planting of these to extend the harvest window if you plan on growing multiple vines; I had cucumbers up to my ears all at once.

A great disappointment

What are the pros? Sprouted fast

What are the cons? Bitter, mildew, poor producer

Review:

I live near Cleveland, OH and grew these last year (2014) which was a very cool summer. I could not have been more disappointed in these cucumbers. They immediately became covered in downy mildew and and produced fewer than a dozen cucumbers all summer, most of which were very bitter. Mere feet away, the Mexican Sour Gherkins (also purchased here) performed splendidly.
