What are the pros? I love the crunch they have.

What are the cons? None

Review:

We got a late start on planting due to something eating our first set of seeds. We restarted in pots and transplanted into the garden. We grew them vertically. My 9 year old loved the name and appearance of them. He needed to grow something to get one of his boyscout badges. Super easy to grow. We have gotten quite a few off the two vines we planted.

What are the pros? Shape

What are the cons? Flavor is a little bit bland

Review:

I've been growing this cucumber type this year and it has been giving a lot of fruits. All the cucumbers have good shape, thick skin and juicy. The flavor is ok, a little bland but everyone likes how they look and they are easy to grow so I would plant them again next year.

What are the pros? Conversation piece, tasty

What are the cons? None

Review:

My kids just love these! They're so cool looking and tasty. We picked some smaller ones to pickle and larger ones to eat. Both are fantastic. I grew them on a raised row with heavy clay soil amended with chicken litter. I add bone meal before blossoms and they've been very prolific and only slightly later than our muncher cukes.

What are the pros? Germination, flavor, abundance

What are the cons? none

Review:

I planted three varieties of cucumber this year, and so far these are the star. I had a great germination rate - I think it was 100% - and they grow like crazy. They've started producing well before my other two types, Little Leaf and Hmong Red. They are flavorful and crisp, and based on the number of tiny eggs and blossoms, it's going to be a bumper crop. I look forward to seeing how they pickle... if I can stop eating them long enough to find out.

Review:

I am 61 years old and this is the 1st time growing. Hadn't heard if them before. Grew for grandkids but they don't eat cucumbers. So I am getting ready to pickle some. Great to eat and easy to pick.
