What are the pros? Hardy, tasty

What are the cons? none

Review:

I've never grown snow peas before, so I don't have much basis for comparison. That being said, I found these peas to be tasty and tender enough. I think they certainly are better than what I can get at the grocery store. I don't know if I'd grow them again, mainly because I enjoy snap and shell peas quite a bit more and I have limited space, however I don't have anything negative to say about these peas. I bought the seeds back in 2012 and when I planted them in March this year (2014) I had 100% germination. The plants have very pretty flowers, and the vines withstood several early spring freezes that were atypical for our area. I got to eat at least two pods daily in the spring once my 9 plants began producing, and I think they would've done even better had I not tried to get so many plants into a square foot of garden space. The pods were sweet and delicious, but I didn't really get enough at one time to do any cooking with them. They were nice right off the vine though!

What are the pros? long-bearing,heat tolerant

What are the cons? small pod

Review:

This is my fave snow pea; when others have given up due to heat, my "summer snows" keep on bearing as long as I keep them picked. They are on the small side and get tough if you let them go too long- like any snow pea. Beautiful flowers on a fence.

What are the pros? beautiful vines and blooms

What are the cons? pods even young ones are tough

Review:

This is an old variety I won't plant again. The vines were beautiful. But the pods are tough to eat raw and also tough when cooked even with the string removed. I tried them very young (with no peas inside yet) and later as sugar snap peas with the peas inside them.
