I really liked this radish. It's dependable and great for market. Crunchy, sweet, spicy it has it all.

What are the pros? grows fast and likes the sun
What are the cons? Can't eat as fast as they grow
I live with intense sun year round and had a hard time finding vegetables that can survive. After test planting these radishes in various places I discovered they thrive when planted in an area that is in the shade all morning and the hot sun all afternoon.

These were ready for harvest way quicker than I anticipated. Seems to be a 100% germination, if not pretty close. The skin is beautiful and rich and the flesh isn't too fibrous. For the most part they start out with a very sweet flavor and finish with a kick. I have had some that have left me panting and searching for water because of the spice and some that were just sweet and crisp. The variability of the flavor (from my crop at least) lend some adventure to the eating them. A really fast grow and well worth planting. Going to try the french breakfast next.

These are very quick, excellent germination rate, and they don't seem to mind the heat.

I live in Central Florida and I started these seeds in late Fall and have been growing them through the Winter. They were started indoors in a tray until they got big enough to not get trampled on in the garden, by my cats. They grow fairly quickly and easily and have even endured a frost. The flesh has a pretty spicy flavor and the inside is crisp and delicious. You must maintain a regular watering habit, otherwise they tend to split, but they still taste good!
