What are the pros? flavor, greens, speed

What are the cons? uneven growth

Review:

If you can plant them thin enough and keep them well-weeded, these make perfectly round perfectly pink perfect-flavored radishes. The greens are excellent cooked. Because these germinate so well, you will want to plant them very very widely, as though you're pre-thinning them. We divided this packet into four plantings, and each planting spread across ten feet and STILL some of the radishes grew much faster than their neighbors and shaded them out. This resulted in a big pile of skinny radishes and a small pile of perfect ones. We also got a few purple radishes out of this seed. O.o Flavor is great, just hot enough to be radishy, even when we had to pick the initially skinny ones weeks later than their bigger neighbors. I'm letting some go to seed for radish pods and next year's seeds, and not missing the extra radishes because it just produces SO MANY RADISHES.

Da bomb. Planted very early in Denver, Colorado area. Almost 100% germination. Tasty little radishes with succulent greens. Very easy to grow and a great early early season vegetable.

Review:

I put these in about a month before the frost date so I could harvest them right when I would be putting other direct sow seeds in. It actually took closer to four weeks to mature, but that is probably due to a lot of cold and cloudy days. I loved being able to start so early, while I am starting other things from seed indoors. I expect to harvest about 224 of these from a 4X4 square foot garden. I discovered that if you cut them in halves or quarters, coat them in olive oil, and spices to taste, bake at 425 for about 40 minutes they make an amazing side dish. I will plant these again next spring, and see how they do in the winter with a cold frame.

Review:

They might as well call it Old Faithful, cause every seed sprouted and has produced great radishes quite early! I was the first one to eat something out of my garden at our community garden here because they grew so fast. So tasty my youngest son is now a fan!
