What are the pros? very early

What are the cons? none

Review:

I was so surprised by how very sweet this beet was because it grew so large so very quickly. It was our very favorite beet last year out of eleven varieties. I reviewed Cylindra as our favorite forgetting about this little gem but this one takes the lead by how early it was. Cylindra is not far behind though.

What are the pros? Good size beet, taste great

What are the cons? Struggled as fall crop

Review:

I planted this beet in both the spring and fall in Kansas City, MO. It did really well in the spring and I had a couple good harvests. These beets tasted great. We mostly roast them. I tried another batch of these as a fall crop and they couldn't take the heat of our September and didn't get very big before winter hit. I will do these again next year. I can't say how early these are as I haven't done other varieties, but they didn't seem to take too long to harvest.

What are the pros? Tops for greens also great

What are the cons? difficult to find in this area

Review:

Note; The Ants don't come with the beets. take care of them first. These are the best beet I have ever raised. (70 yrs) Can or freeze easily.they peal easily and at the proper size have great color. I live in an area that does not seem to know a good beet from cardboard ones. I have poor soil, but these beets are almost foolproof if planted early enough and kept well watered.

Review:

Spring comes and summers here fast in southern Kansas...so quick is essential, these did well and I even had some germinate in the heat of the summer! Amazing! Nice flavor, small size and a fair amount of greens for fresh salad or summer soup!

My first time growing beets, and these have turned out beautifully! Easy to grow, and they flourished and reached maturity for small size in 30 days or less. Gorgeous to look at and they taste delicious!
