Review:

I bought a packet of these seeds from BCHS in 2012 and planted them in a large pot on my back porch. Just scattered the seeds and watered them in. That first year they came up and made really pretty dark green, healthy looking leaves but no flowers. I was a little disappointed and over the year forgot about them. The next spring these little green plants started coming up in the pot and within a couple of month the pot was FULL of the most beautiful 2 to 3 foot tall plants with over 20 bright flowers. Every year since I've had a pot full of blooms (except in 2016, just greenery and no flowers, not sure why). As I type this review there are butterflies and bees all over them again this year. I normally dead head them once the flowers fade but I think I will leave some on the plant this year to mature and collect seed to start a bed in the yard somewhere. Be sure you don't keep the soil too wet. I only water if I see the leaves starting to droop a little.

Review:

I direct sowed about 5 seeds in my herb garden (average soil with full sun) in April of last year. They took a month to come up and grew slowly. They produced healthy green leaves and were low maintanance plants. Each plant bloomed in September. I didn't touch them at all last year. They came back this year with a roar. I provably have close to 40 flowers. They are between 4-5 feet tall and smell wonderful. They have proven to be resilient to our constantly changing Texas weather and bugs. I have been harvesting their leaves and flowers for drying. Going to harvest the second year roots. Love these flowers!

Review:

This has grown well for me in N.E. Texas. I started the seeds under a grow light in February. The plants flowered well both the 1st & 2nd year. We make tea from the leaves & flowers.

Review:

I planted these last spring (2012). They didn't do to good, no flowering or anything like that just grew leaves about 2 1/2 feet. Well this year surprise, I have about 30 plant all with flowers on them about 5 to 6 foot tall. I didn't touch them once, they just came back on their own. Great looking flower.

Review:

No flowers yet on mine either. Does ok in a pot but I have kind of a hard time with it overall. I did find that it did better when I forgot to water it. We will see if and when it comes back though.
