NEW - Graceful, branching plants, reaching shoulder height, give great yields of 12-inch cowhorn-type pods, which remain tender even after reaching a large size! The prickly pods are a pretty, pale green. Performed well in the hot and dry conditions of summer 2011, when others failed. Originated in Georgia.

What are the pros? Prolific, great tasting

What are the cons? None

Review:

Grew the best of 3 varieties in our Central Valley drought conditions. Great tasting, and it's still good when it grows longer than other varieties. It even tastes good raw. We will grow this from now on & skip the other varieties.

Review:

This okra kept producing in drought heat, the plant grew so tall and was heavy with large long pods when I was out of town ,that it fell over and after picking and cutting off the stalks that fell,it came back and grew shoots and kept producing tender long pods till into late October,I had nice 14" light green star shaped okra. I saved seed for next spring.
