I'm in southern Alabama and have been growing these for three years now (in partial shade). These are great when the weather is cool. I've found that after the temps rise I have to cut the stem end off to avoid a mighty bitter end, But we love these little cukes for their high yields and uniform size. They're our favorites so far pickling and eating fresh. Bees love them. If you want to try these, and I recommend you do, plan to grow them on a trellis.
