What are the pros? early, easy, tasty

What are the cons? None

Review:

These are a tasty little choy. I like them because they are easy and they are one of the first vegetables to grow in my garden in early spring. They also grow rather quickly. It is April 30th and I am close to my 1st harvest of this early vegetable with no row covers! Highly recommend.

What are the pros? Fast growing deep green leaves

What are the cons? Bolts quickly in heat.

Review:

What an unexpectedly wonderful little plant. I always make sure that I have Tatsoi going in my gardens, but this crunchy stemmed, deep green leaved little guy took to being planted in very tight spacing, and produced an abundance of saut?e ready deliciousness. Mild flavored leaves are great in salad, also. Though it was quick to flower in our hot climate, I will be sure to make this a staple in my elevated garden beds from now on!

What are the pros? Taste, Quick Maturity

Review:

My favorite type of bok choy, and I've tried a lot of different varieties. Very tender and sweet. Grows to full size in 3-4 weeks. I started planting these in October and am still resowing now in March, they've grown well at temps ranging from 60/45-88/75F (day/night temps). Does well in partial shade. Others have mentioned quick bolting; the flower that emerges is my favorite part. I use this bok choy in stir fries, soups, noodles, basically anything that I'd like to add some veggies to.

What are the pros? Easy to grow, Tender

What are the cons? VERY fast to mature

Review:

We are blessed to have a year-round growing season here, so lesson learned was to stagger my plantings of this wonderful veggie because I had a lot all at once, then absolutely none. They mature quickly, and look absolutely beautiful for market customers! Their flavor is mild, flesh is tender, and they are easy to prepare. I had so many at once, I let them bolt and am trying to harvest the seed for a fall harvest.

Review:

These grew risky in Rockwool cubes and flourished in my indoor tower garden. They were tasty and a great vegetable to have on hand to throw into stir fry. This is a stable in our home.
