(Iberis umbellata) This dwarf plant adds an old-fashioned charm to the garden, with its lovely flowers in candy-colored shades of red, pink, lavender and white. This plant flowers quickly and makes pretty dried seed heads.

What are the pros? Drought tolerant

What are the cons? Mostly Purple

Review:

Wow, I didn't know what to expect when I ordered these seeds, I liked the name and thought they'd be pretty if they grew. Little did I know these flowers would be the most productive flower I planted from seed this year. Even in drought riddled California these have been growing and sprouting all summer with very little water. After a freak rainstorm even more have popped up. They are lovely flowers and it makes my day to see the bees and butterflies stopping to do their magic on the flowers, I wish I could post a picture of it.

What are the pros? Super easy to grow

What are the cons? None

Review:

These are easy. Easy peasy. Not only are they easy to grow, they're very hardy - we have awful soil where I live and they will grow anywhere! They also tolerate the direct intense heat. Only bummer is when they reseed themselves they're all purple, or at least they were for me.
