Glowing, creamy-white fruit have a hint of yellow, and are ribbed, flattened and of medium size. Sweet, low acid flavor will make this "ghostly" tomato a favorite of those looking for a mild variety. This attractive variety reputedly originates in Laos.

What are the pros? Lots of fruit, tasty

What are the cons? none

Review:

Wonderful variety! I grew this tomato for the first time this year (2015) and I am extremely satisfied with the results. I picked the first fruits in the end of July and kept picking until first week of October. The were growing in big clusters of 10-12 fruits. The fruits were healthy, pretty shade of very light yellow, no cracking or imperfections. Good size, most of mine were 150-250 grams (6-8 oz) each. Taste is very mild with low acidity. Very prolific - I planted 3 plants and harvested total of 30 lbs! Tomatoes seem resistant to late blight which ruined other varieties in my garden this year. I will be planting these again next year as they proved to be delicious and easy to grow.

What are the pros? Tasty, pretty

What are the cons? Tiny

Review:

I planted 2 varieties of tomato in 5-gallon buckets (1 plant per bucket). I grew 2 of this variety. The first problem I had was a ton of blossoms that didn't turn into fruit...I was so excited when I saw them all, then so sad when they all fell off. This happened to all of my tomato plants, so it may have been my fault somehow. Anyway, the plants got big and thick, and eventually produced a lot of maters. Unfortunately, they were tiny! They were very sweet and a pretty shade of pale yellow, but man, they were small. I will probably try these again next year, one plant per 10-gallon bucket to see what they can do...

Review:

Laos is a very fascinating and mysterious country. They have unique fruits and vegetables that made Lao cuisine so delicious. The Fantome Du Laos tomatoes are great in Lao salads, Lao soups and Lao stir fries. I'm in love with this white tomato from Laos.

Review:

By its appearence I believe this is the tomato that I grew last year. I picked up the seeds quite unexpectantly at a import shop, planted them and was pleasantly surprised by the resultant crop. The tomatoes were medium to large sized, with a pleasantly low acid yet citrus/savory/ tomatoflavor. I planted them late but still got good production into the fall of the year. I plan to plant from saved seeds but earlier this year in order to see if i can get more total production. I enjoyed this tomato very much
